SLOTTED ROTORS – Machined
scraper slots in the braking surface of the
rotor. Increase stopping performance by sweeping
out the brake dust and gas vapor created from
the braking process.
CROSSED DRILLED ROTORS –
These holes reduce brake rotor temps therefore
increasing braking performance. When compared
to stock brake rotors under hard braking,
cross drilled rotors can reduce temperatures
by as much as 200° F. This is done by
maximizing airflow with drilled vent holes,
thereby reducing extreme heat and gas build
up and eliminating brake pedal fade.
